"Leap of Faith" Poster Design
In a time of ambiguity, it becomes challenging to look ahead. I think the phrase “Leap of Faith” holds a lot of power as it encourages us to grab on to uncertainty and jump towards the unknown without fear. We need this concept now more than ever. Our lives have changed abruptly, and it all doesn’t make sense. However, we must accept that this is our reality and trust everything is as it should be.
As for my poster, I wanted to create an image of a person waiting for the metro and believing that wherever their destination is, they’ll be okay. I picked a simple black and white colour palette as it tells us that this concept is timeless. Wherever we go in life, we should confidently take each step, and trust that the Earth has our backs. I chose a neon font for the word “Leap” to resemble that of a metro sign, and the other fonts are a nice minimalist addition. I drew the figure through continuous line art to indicate that we never lose our way in life, we always find a way back “home”.
This design is simple, with minimal things going on. I want whoever sees it to understand that they're where they’re supposed to be now, so let’s trust that things will be okay.
